Independent Thought Gallery and Studio

We are getting ready for drawing and painting classes at Independent Thought.

Please click on the Registration Page or here to start.

We will be offering separate classes for adults and young artists as well.

We are starting with Wednesdays for adults and Tuesdays for younger artists – but nothing is written in stone and we will work with your schedule as much as possible. Please contact  the gallery with any questions or suggestions regarding scheduling. Tuition is outlined on the Registration Page.

You may register online on the links connected to the Registration Page. A clarification email will be sent to finalize class dates, and then a Paypal request will be sent to complete the registration.

We know the classes will change and the schedule will evolve, please contact us in order to make sure you or your artist do not miss the opportunities at Independent Thought Gallery.

Kristae’s work is incredible. These are on raw linen which has been hemmed all the way around and is hung by a simple curtain rod. You simply but the brackets on a wall and the work hangs like a curtain about an inch away from the wall. They are stunning to see in person. They will be hanging in the gallery tonight for the Valley Junction Christmas walk tonight from 5-9pm.

For you locals – the new Subway shop across from the sculpture park in downtown Des Moines is gettng a little guff for opening (completely with a “Subway” sign – must be a sign of the End of Days) across from the park.
